MIFF program guide 2026
[GRAPHIC DESIGN] [Publicaiton Design] [Merchandise]

MIFF’s 74-year history significantly contributes to Melbourne’s standing as a cultural city. At a time when the world can feel increasingly fragmented, cinema remains one of our most powerful ways to understand one another.

They are proud to present a program that spans continents, perspectives and experiences, bringing together the year’s most acclaimed films, exciting discoveries and unforgettable screen events. As the largest film festival in the Southern Hemisphere and the world’s biggest showcase of new Australian cinema, MIFF celebrates the power of storytelling to connect us, challenge us and inspire us. Alongside extraordinary international cinema, this year’s program shines a spotlight on Australian filmmakers whose work reflects the creativity, ambition and diversity of our screen culture.
